If upon removal of a nonoperational vehicle(s) or vehicle part(s) hazardous waste is discovered by visual inspection on the ground beneath or adjacent to the vehicle(s)/vehicle part(s) or in any container, the enforcement officer will make note of the contamination on the same citation for the abatement of the vehicle(s) or vehicle part(s). The Wiyot Tribe’s Environmental Department will be notified to assist the enforcement officer in suggestions for hazardous disposal to complete remediation. The owner will be given no more than seven days to completely dispose of the hazardous material in a lawful manner. A follow up survey will be conducted by both the enforcement officer and the Wiyot Tribe’s Environmental Department to assess the contaminated area(s) for successful remediation. [Ord. 12-01 Art.
