Tribal employees may be candidates for election to the Tribal Council either as members or as officers. During a term on the Council, the member or officer may continue to be employed by the Tribe or may seek Tribal employment. Nothing in this code of conduct shall preclude a Tribal Council member from performing work for the Tribe as an independent contractor. [Adopted 10/11 § 2(D).]
