Pursuant to Article XII of the Constitution, duties of the Tribal Chair include the following at General Council meetings:

A. Serve as Chairperson of the General Council;

B. Be responsible for preparation of the agenda for each regular and special meeting of the General Council and cause said agenda for General Council meetings to be posted as required under the Constitution and this chapter, and in such other fashion as the Chair deems appropriate;

C. At the annual meeting of the General Council, the Tribal Chair or his or her designee shall be responsible for:

1. A written report presented by the Chairperson on all ordinance(s), code(s), and statute(s) enacted by the Tribal Council since the last annual General Council meeting, with a short summary explaining each such document;

2. Prepare and present with the Treasurer the annual budget for Wiyot Tribe, including all enterprises owned and operated by the Tribe. [Adopted 4/7/07 § 7(c).]
