The Board of Directors shall consist of at least five members appointed by the Tribal Council of the Wiyot Tribe.

The members shall serve for a period of four years, or until a successor is appointed. Appointments shall be staggered in such a way that the terms of office of no more than two members shall end in a single year. No more than five members shall be appointed to a single term of more or less than four years for the purpose of implementing the staggered two-term system. Thereafter, the terms of all members shall begin on March 1st and end on the last day of February. [Ord. 01-15 Art. III § 2, approved 10/8/15.]
