The Commission shall be deemed to be the Tribe’s law enforcement agency for the purpose of taking fingerprints and conducting criminal history checks under this chapter. The Commission may elect to process fingerprint cards directly on behalf of the Tribe or to process fingerprint cards through the State Gaming Agency or the NIGC and may execute such documents as may be necessary to enter into such an arrangement. Fingerprint cards shall be submitted to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice in order to obtain criminal history record information.
